We are a small software company located at the Glass Lab in the industrial eastside of Portland, Oregon. And we’re always looking for exceptional folks to join our collegial, fun, thoughtful team of weirdos (hey, we are in Portland!).
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Account Manager to assist with new client implementation and training. The primary responsibility will be working with clients who are starting to use our software to guide them through our “next steps” checklist, track outstanding to do items and requests, answer questions, and provide help materials and information.
The role also involves:
- Working on the back end to help setup and configure our software.
- Building fillable forms using HTML and CSS.
- Providing basic troubleshooting and customer support via phone, email, and our ticketing system. We all pitch in on support and everyone has certain days/ times when they are responsible for providing direct customer support.
- Eventually, holding screen sharing training calls with onboarding clients.
The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high degree of comfort/aptitude with technology, and the ability to quickly gain proficiency on a complicated system. Those with prior work experience in a healthcare setting (especially primary care) are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate may also have customer service experience and/or experience (or interest) in basic coding (HTML/CSS).
Changing from one EHR system to another can be a very stressful time for clinics. So it is also important to be able to remain calm in the face of clients’ anxiety or frustration, and not take their frustration personally.
LOCATION, COMPENSATION, & BENEFITS
We’re in the process of transitioning from 100% work from home due to COVID. We anticipate that this position will be primarily in our office at the Glass Lab (SE MLK and SE Mill).
Compensation is $36,000-$44,000 per year, with generous end-of-year performance bonuses. We also provide medical and dental health insurance coverage, 401k plan, flexible PTO, standing desks/ ergonomic equipment by request, and periodic staff meals and happy hours.
