Ravel Health provides affordable virtual care for Lyme, mold, and complex chronic illness.
They were founded by chronic Lyme patients, in collaboration with Lyme-literate providers, with the goal of providing personalized and affordable care for their patients. They offer an innovative three-tier subscription model, which lets patients choose from flexible 30, 60, or 90-minute monthly appointments that can be used to review lab results, discuss their protocol, or address an acute flare.
This unique and customizable model gives their patients the individual attention of being matched with a care provider, while also giving them access to below-market pricing and discounts on labs and supplements.
Ravel Health has set an aggressive goal to be completely nationwide by the end of 2025, bringing their affordable and on-demand care to people in all 50 states.
To achieve this goal, they needed a solution that would tick all the required boxes today, while also requiring a scalable EHR that would still meet their needs as they added new patients across more states.
As a virtual-care-focused platform, they also placed a high priority on being able to connect with patients scattered across a widely distributed geographic area. This would require an intuitive patient portal and easy access to detailed patient records for their remote staff.
One of their advisors was very familiar with Cerbo and recommended us as the best platform to meet their complex needs.
The Cerbo team welcomed the challenge of customizing a solution that would suit Ravel Health’s unique needs and future goals – So we went right to work.
The Ravel team had previous experience using a patient portal, but this would be their first time using the back end of an EHR solution. The onboarding process would not happen overnight, but our team would be there to support them at every step of the journey.
“Cerbo is a very robust platform with a lot of features and functionality, meaning there’s a bit of a learning curve,” said Kevin Williams, one of the Ravel co-founders.
“Implementation has been great overall though and Rebecca is phenomenal. We continually pepper her with questions and she gets back to us with an answer the same or next day.”
Cerbo is now helping Ravel Health grow its business and reach new customers across the country.
They are particularly enjoying the Cerbo + Fullscript integration. This allows them to seamlessly recommend supplements to their customers. This also gives their customers the ability to order and re-order on their own, with products being shipped right to their front doors.
Ravel’s providers had previous issues with other solutions that didn’t give them real-time access to current inventory levels. This meant they would frustratingly order supplements and then later learn that the vendor was out of stock. Now, with Cerbo + Fullscript integration, the Ravel Health team has real-time access to the inventory levels for every product and supplement.
“The integrations are great and make everything so much easier,” said Kevin Williams, co-founder of Ravel.
“We will continue to contract providers who are licensed across the country, then add them and scale, and eventually expand globally.”
